Today, that innovation finds a new application with SECUREPARK® — the app that makes parking management safer and more efficient, thanks to dual vehicle-driver authentication through the Predictive QR Code®.
This means that, upon exiting the parking area, license plate recognition alone is no longer sufficient: the driver’s identity is also verified, guaranteeing a new standard of security.
SECUREPARK®, now available in app stores, revolutionizes the management of parking areas according to European security standards, in line with regulations requiring protected services for truck drivers and heavy vehicles.
CAV S.p.A. has adopted SECUREPARK® for the first two operational areas along the A4 "Passante di Mestre", reaffirming its commitment to safety and innovation in truck parking management.
Starting November 10, 2025, two new SECUREPARK® areas are operational at the Spinea (A4 – km 380+400) and Preganziol (A4 – km 400+100) exits.
These areas, dedicated to heavy vehicle parking, allow truck drivers to safely stop, rest, and refresh themselves in compliance with EU Regulation 561/2006 on mandatory rest periods.
Each area is fenced, monitored by video surveillance, and accessible 24/7, offering full restroom facilities (men, women, and disabled access), hot showers, free Wi-Fi, and a refreshment area with vending machines.
Access is free and reserved exclusively for heavy vehicles, excluding ADR (hazardous goods) transport.
